John Nau

A native of San Diego, John Nau has been a professional musician since the age of 18. He cut his teeth early on in original jazz and rock bands which brought him to Los Angeles, where he now composes for film and television.

He is also an accidental visual artist. While John’s gone through cycles of painting throughout the years as an alternate form of self-expression, Mean Dogs is the most concise curation of theme, and was displayed twice in 2024 at the Sullivan Gallery in New Orleans, LA. Currently, John is enjoying exploring new themes in his paintings and is looking forward to more gallery shows in the future.
